The product range currently includes microwaves, washing machines, refrigerators, and ACs. All of these appliances have different AI features like Food Recognition in refrigerators, Recipe personalization in microwaves, and Distance Cooling in ACs.

Apart from these niche USPs, we also analyzed a few common features. Firstly, all appliances use AI technology to make energy-saving decisions while operating. This makes the BESPOKE range, much more sustainable than their other counterparts. Apart from this, the appliances can also be connected to smartphones using the SmartThings application and operate on voice commands. This application ensures regular software updates as well as adaption to user behavior to streamline actions that they need to take each time the machine is used.

This development is expected to greatly reduce the time spent on conducting these house chores and could redefine the premium home appliances market segment as it combines technological efficiency with sustainability. Given how much voice assistants like Alexa have penetrated the markets, soon after their launch, it is not difficult to predict that the Bespoke range will soon take over a considerable share of the market. However, what will be interesting to see is whether Samsung can live up to its mission of ‘AI For All’ by innovating products that are also budget-friendly but offer the same AI conveniences.
